"Meillä oli hyvä käynti. Vietimme viikon Águilasissa. Satamasta hotelliin kävellessämme Plaza Españan laitanurkalla ei voinut olla kiinnittämättä huomiota siihen, että Clendysin luukulla oli joka kerta jonoa. Lähes viimeisenä iltana sitten viimein kävimme kahvilla. Jos et puhu espanjaa, etkä oikein tunne sikäläistä kahvilakulttuuriakaan, on kahvilassa käyminen jännä juttu (lue: VILLI MATKA!!!). Ei kun toimeen. Ensin kartoitimme leivonnaistarjonnan silmämääräisesti. Sitten kyselin englanniksi jonkin verran tietoja leivonnaisista. (Ei kannata olla liian tarkka, että jaksaa yllättyä. Ja minulla oli lisäksi nälkä. Mun mies ottaa aina yleensä saman kuin minä; senkin possunassu.) Saimme arvottua mitä otamme silmällä tehdyn ja sanallisen tiedon perusteella ja TILATTUA! Eiks mennykin hyvin? Palvelu oli ystävällistä vaikka aika persoonatonta. Kahvilassa ei illalla seitsemän aikaan ollut kovin paljon porukkaa. Karnevaalimusiikki soi Sisustus kahvilan perällä oli kiva ja kutsuva. Meijän kaffet tuli nopsaan ja niin ne perunakiekotkin - tosin lökölämpiminä. Minä nälissäni en löytänyt mitään valittamista, mutta armaani löysi: perunan alla oli kuivahkoa ja mautonta naudan jauhelihaa. Olisi pitänyt tilata ukolle joku suklaaleivonnainen, pohdin täällä nyt jälkiviisaana."
